The Barrie Sports Dome Large Field, which is available year round, is the main playing field in the Dome. It is home to most of our youth and adult soccer leagues as well as the Barrie Ultimate Frisbee League. It features players benches, bleachers for spectators, and a score clock to keep track of time and scores of your game. The field is made of an infilled artificial turf that is great for a multitude of different sports, including but not limited to:
- Soccer
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Baseball/Softball
- Rugby
- Flag Football
- Lacrosse

- $176.00 + HST per hour | Effective off-peak hours & off-season
- 12:00am-7:00am weekends
- 12:00am-3:00pm weekdays
- Anytime Off-Season (Victoria Day to Labour Day)
- $220.00 + HST per hour | Effective peak hours in-season
- 7:00am-12:00am weekends in-season
- 3:00pm-12:00am weekdays in-season
- $1900.00 + HST per day (12-16 hours)
Would you like to include rental of the Sidelines Lounge following your field rental? In the Lounge, you are welcome to bring in any food and/or non-alcoholic beverages of your choosing to enjoy in the space. You are also welcome to decorate the room if you wish. The Dome is a licensed establishment and does have beer and mixed drinks for sale. Cost to include the Lounge rental with your field rental is $50.00 + HST which will give you private access to the space for 45 minutes directly following your field rental/activity. Simply select this as an add-on when submitting your online booking request to have it included.
*Soccer equipment (soccer balls, nets, pinnies) can be supplied by the Barrie Sports Dome. All other equipment is to be supplied by the user.
*Receive a 10% discount on hourly rates when renting 6+ hours (hours do not have to be consecutive).
*Full payment is due with 7 days of submitting your booking request (accommodations can be made for recurring or full day rentals only). If payment is not completed within the 7 day window, your rental will be cancelled and the time slot will be re-opened to the public. The Dome must be notified of any cancellations at least 30 days prior to field rental to receive refund. All refunds are subject to a $25.00 administration fee per hour booked.
